Final Statement about the contest from the jury
The jury has received a huge amount and variety of high qualitative and creative ideas.
Some of the jury members have been very skeptical in the beginning of the contest and
Melitta had to be courageous to dare such a project. However, the huge amount of community
members and valuable ideas surprised all of us in the end. The bunch of ideas was just
amazing! Swirl and the jury members assess the contest as a great success!
The Smell Fighters Idea Contest Team wants to thank you all for your creative and high-class
ideas and for all the time you spend on creating your designs. It was a very special and
innovative contest for us! Thank you all!

To the jury’s mind the idea "sneak_fresh" has the highest fit to the
contest topic as well as the highest value for the customers.
Therefore it was determined to be the winner of the Smellfighters
idea contest. The creator of the idea has clearly recognized the
problem and provided a great and still very functional solution.
Most impressive about this idea is that functionality is integrated
into the design. An old active principle has been reinterpreted in a
simple and useful way.

The idea "Bloom - The Air Medic" impressed the jury with an extreme
high level of creativity and a new principle of operation. The jury
considered it as a visionary idea reflecting the bionic principles
and is inspired by the natural environment.

"The Full Portable Compact Swirl Air Cleaner" reinterprets an old
active principle and is very well elaborated. It perfectly fits
to the contest topic and provides the opportunity for miscellaneous
additional products.

The Smellfighters Innovation Contest is over! Today we are proud to present the

Prizes
The members with the three best ideas win prize money
and are selected by the jury at the end of the contest.
In addition, the most active members are rewarded with
non-monetary prizes.
